Ariadna Pérez Ortega

Specialist in Corporate Law and a Certified Private Arbitrator. She has over 13 years of experience in Corporate Law, working in different global companies, such as HSBC Bank Mexico, Productos Roche de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. and other national companies such as Harmon Hall and Credifiel, in which she has specialized in various fields, such as the education, financing and pharmaceutical fields. Acquiring experience in Legal Audits, Administrative Law, Negotiation, Review and creation of any kind of necessary Agreement in the operation of any company, as well as corporate follow-up of a company with minutes, registers, proxies, trademarks, inter alia. She has been responsible for relationships with the government, as well as the compliance with specific regulations: of the National Registry of Foreign Investments of several companies and before the CONDUSEF and the CNVB.

She has developed projects related to the compliance with the Federal Law of Protection of Personal Data held by Private Individuals to operate with the corresponding Privacy Notice. Similarly, in regards to the Federal Law for the Prevention and Identification of Transactions Involving Resources Derived from Illicit Sources, incorporating elements regarding the compliance of said laws in the applicable sectors.

Said professional experience, along with the experience acquired in Public Brokerage and her relations with the Notary, as well as her participation in the induction course for the body of notaries of the Mexico City Association of Notaries, has allowed her to provide one of the most important assets for the Company: Corporate Preventive Consultancy, avoiding further contingencies, protecting the interests of the companies with the appropriate control and making legal procedures efficient.

Currently in training as Private Arbitrator NO. 340 of the TSJDF and with a postgraduate degree in Negotiation and Arbitration from Universidad Castilla-La Mancha in Toledo, Spain; IPADE Directive Training Program, first generation of Cooperative Lawyers of the Mexican Bar Association, as well as a Specialty in Socio-Environmental Disputes on Hydrocarbons. Member of the Global Collaborative Law Council and a Commercial Arbitration Certification from the International Chamber of Commerce Mexico, the Escuela Libre de Derecho and the ICC International Court of Arbitration; she actively develops the Arbitration as an alternative solution of conflicts and promotes the resolution of the differences in her potential arbitrations with this effective resource; as with the practice of the affairs she has led within Arbitration she believes in the Alternate Means of Resolution of Controversies, which has allowed her to provide one of the most important assets for the Company: preventive and corrective consultancy, avoiding future contingencies by protecting the interests of the companies.

This training has led her to participate in several national and international Arbitrations and forums on the Alternate Means of Resolution of Controversies. Participating as Judge for the National Arbitration Moot in its Regional and National phase in 2019 by the American Bar Association and the Association of Conflict Resolution and as rating judge of the last arbitrator generation of the TSJCDMX. Likewise, she has successfully arranged various forums for the Association of Conflict Resolution (ARCO) and the Escuela Libre de Derecho (ELD).
